19 March 2005. Berlins nightlife is an important economic and cultural part of the citys powers of attraction for thousands of visitors, many of them youngsters. Every year Berlins Club-Nacht (Club Night) gives late night party animals the chance of sampling the sounds, the scents and the sights at 31 different clubs in Berlin night-time frenzy. The first club night in September 2001 drew 10,000 people, and numbers have been growing each year since then. The Berlin Club Commission was set up by a group of club owners in 2001 and organises the extravaganza.
