5-10 April 2005. Conducted by Andrea Giorgi, directed by Luigi Squarzina, with John Uhlenhopp, Mario Luperi, Michail Ryssov, Brigitte Pinter and Alessandro Guerzoni. This is an opera-oratorio in two acts on a text by Jean Coctaux based on the tragedy by Sophocles. The programme is a double bill with the ballet The Firebird, choreography by Michel Fokine and music by Stravinsky in the second part.
