These days graffiti and certainly hip hop are mainstream art forms that frequently pop up in most media from cinema and television to radio and the internet. For some time now many practitioners of these street forms of modern culture have been involved both in front of and behind the film camera. Rhythm of the Line looks at their impact on the silver screen through the use of writing and graffiti as well as the now de rigueur break dancing and rap music that features in many films and television productions.
