Representatives from Athens, Barcelona, Berlin, London and Paris are due to convene in Rome for a public debate about the quality of air and eco-friendly transport in urban centres. Roma incontra lEuropa will take place on 3 March at 11.00 at the Museo Civico di Zoologia in Via Aldovrandi 18 and will be followed at 14.30 by a round table discussion on solutions for motors that will cut emissions to zero. Vehicles that do little or no harm to the environment will meanwhile be shown at the Piazzale del Giardino Zoologico in Villa Borghese from 3-5 March in the fourth national exhibition of eco-friendly transport. Bicycles, electric scooters and buses and cars with low environmental impact will be on display as well as associations working to fight smog and promote alternative forms of transport.
