Air traffic controllers at Romes Fiumicino International airport have declared a four-hour strike on Wednesday19 October from 12.00 - 16.00. The strike has caused the cancellation of 102 Alitalia flights and may well put many other international airline flights at risk; Passengers flying from Rome, Fiumicno or Ciampino airports are advised to contact the airport before leaving home;
