Amazon Prime Now offers Rome residents home delivery of groceries within an hour.
Amazon Prime Now customers in Rome can shop online for more than 8,000 food and household products from the PAM Panorama supermarket stores and have their groceries deliveries to their homes for free by selecting from a two-hour window.
Customers of Amazon Prime Now, which launches in Rome on 19 September, can also choose to pay a €7.99 fee if they wish to have their shopping delivered within an hour of purchase.
The offer, already in operation in Milan, is available from 08.00 until midnight, seven days a week, with a minimum order of €25.
The service, which until January 2019 incurs no additional cost, covers products ranging from fruit and vegetables to dried and frozen foods, fresh deli produce, detergents and general household groceries.
