Roman taxi drivers have been voted the rudest in the world by a survey of British holidaymakers. The survey, taken by UK company Airport Transfers, was based on responses from 2,162 British holidaymakers who had taken an overseas holiday during the last year.
Alongside Paris, Rome was voted joint bottom place in the survey whose respondents rated taxi drivers from the French and Italian capitals as the rudest and most unhelpful.
The survey ranked taxi drivers in Pefkos on the Greek island of Rhodes and the Turkish resort of Marmaris as among the world's friendliest.
