Roma Tpl and Cotral continue strike plans for 24 January

The 24-hour strike by Rome transport company ATAC scheduled for Friday 24 January has been postponed to Wednesday 5 February.

However employees of the suburban bus company Roma Tpl and regional coach service Cotral will go ahead with their 24-hour strike on 24 January, from 08.30 to 17.00 and from 20.00 until end of service.

The rescheduled ATAC strike on 5 February will follow the usual timetable: from 08.30 to 17.00 and from 20.00 to end of service. It affects Rome's buses, trams, metro and light rail services Roma-Lido, Roma-Giardinetti and Roma-Civitacastellana-Viterbo.

Local services operated by Trenitalia will not be affected.
