Rome cyclists allowed to carry bikes on select buses and trams.
Rome commuters will be permitted to carry their bicycles aboard select bus and tram routes in the capital from Monday 16 January.
Designed to promote inter-modal transportation, the initiative is set to be expanded according to Rome's transport councillor Linda Meleo.
The 16 bicycle-friendly bus lines are numbers 2, 3, 5, 8, 14, 19, 83, 118, 120F, 180F, 412, 673, 715, 772, 791 and 911.
