Video of erratic police escort for Ireland's rugby team through streets of Rome.
Footage has surfaced of the Irish rugby team receiving a bizarre police escort to the city's Stadio Olimpico for the Six Nations match against Italy on 24 February.
The video shows the bus being led on an erratic journey through the streets of Rome, led by police in a Fiat Panda.
The Irish team went on to score an unconvincing victory over the Azzurri who led by four points at half time. The final result saw Ireland beat Italy 26-16.
