Campo de Fiori to go back to the old days
The famous market at Campo de Fiori is to go back to the old days of selling mainly food under new rules agreed by the city council. Once famed for its fruit and veg, in recent years the market has seen more and more stalls selling T-shirts, bags, belts and souvenirs for tourists. Under the councils new plan, there will be 47 stalls, of which 36 will be food vendors selling meat, fish, fruit and vegetables. Another three will sell flowers while eight will be entitled to sell other merchandise.
