Car2go and Enjoy offer services to and from Rome's main airport.

The Car2go car-sharing system has launched a new service connecting Rome commuters with the capital's Leonardo Da Vinci airport in Fiumicino.

There is a fixed extra fee of €9.90 for Car2go rentals, to and from the airport, in addition to the standard €0.24 per minute tariff.

Car2go competitor Enjoy is also set to launch its service in Fiumicino on 1 July, charging a €9.50 fixed fee plus standard €0.25 per minute rate.

The car-sharing carpark is located at “Parking B - La Terrazza” directly in front of Terminal 1.

Rome's regular white taxis charge a fixed rate of €48 between the historic cente and Fiumicino airport, while the Leonardo Express train fare to and from Termini station costs €14.
