The Metro A line is to be severely disrupted from 30 July-29 August as major construction works are undertaken for the new C Line station at S. Giovanni, below the present A Line station.

From 30 July-3 August, the A line will be closed from the terminus at Anagnina to Termini, then from 4-29 August the section from Termini to Furio Camillo will be closed. The stretch between Anagnina and Colli Albani then reopens but commuters will have to take shuttle buses between Furio Camillo and Termini, as the intervening six stations will remain closed.
