Colosseum standard ticket price to rise by one third from 1 November.
The cost of standard tickets at the Colosseum are to increase from €12 to €16 from 1 November 2019.
The tickets, which are valid for one day, also include access to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill.
The price increase follows the recent introduction of the €16 Forum Pass which connects the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill with the Imperial Fora and Trajan's Column.
In 2018 the Colosseum attracted more than 7 million visitors - an average of 21,000 people per day.
