The province of Rome has confirmed that it will continue providing season tickets for public transport at reduced prices for students up to 26 years old, and for commuters resident in the province with a gross annual income of less than 22.000. Last year 20,000 commuters used this discounted annual pass. The season tickets cost 30 per cent less than the full price.

Requests for the annual pass can be made from 11 April - 31 July. To apply for the discount, commuters must complete a form with their details (autocertificazione), which is available at the town hall where they are resident, or which can be downloaded from www.provincia.roma.it.
