The municipio (centro storico) has announced a new competition open to artists living and working in Romes centro storico. The Premio Culturale Roma Centro Storico is designed to promote contemporary art in the ancient heart of the city. The competition is divided into three categories: painting, sculpture and photography. Artists can submit only one work to the competition, and entries must be received by 31 January at the Coop San Michele, c/o Istituto Romano di S. Michele, Piazzale A. Tosti 4. Winning entries will be exhibited in the first half of March at the Galleria Antiquaria Benucci, Via del Babuino 33.
