After the proposal to advertise the names of sponsors on the metro C underground line, the issue of corporate sponsorship of Rome's schools has surfaced.

In return for the provision of new equipment and better facilities, schools are asked to advertise the sponsoring company's name and logo.

Schools that have already participated include Regina Elena elementary school near Corso d'Italia, while next on the list are the city's Di Donato, Grilli, Guicciardini and l'Elsa Morante schools. More sponsorship of equipment in other elementary schools is expected in future months.
