Cricket in Rome’s Caffarella
A cricket tournament is in full swing in the Caffarella Park on the Via Appia. Taking place every Sunday from April until the middle of July, most of members of the ten participating teams come from south Asian countries such as Pakistan, Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka, and they play alongside a number of Italians.
The teams taking part in the competition are Maremma, Narni, Latina, Aprilia, LuxRoma, Green Bangla, Punjabi XI, Piazza Vittorio, Olgiata and Sri Lanka Viterbo. One of the tournament
