An earthquake of magnitude 2.5 on the Richter scale has been felt by residents in the southern areas of Rome at 14.58 this afternoon. The epicenter seems to be in the Castelli Romani area. Main towns hit by the quake are Ariccia, Castel Gandolfo, Frascati, Grottaferrata, Marino, Pomezia, Ciampino. No casualties or damages are reported at present time.
