Romes 12th municipality has unveiled plans to install roadside electronic information points in the EUR area in the south of Rome. They will provide hourly news updates on traffic, weather, opening hours for public offices, planned demonstrations and new activities in the citys various municipalities. The first five points, to be operational in May, will be installed in Largo Apollinare, Piazzale Asia, metro B stops of Eur Palasport and Eur Fermi and Piazzale Adenauer.

About 500,000 people live in and around EUR and it is an important metro and bus junction for commuters coming from the south of Rome.
