Emergency room opens at S. Andrea.
The casualty department of Ospedale S. Andrea in Via Grottarossa, close to the Via Cassia bis exit on the Gran Raccordo Anulare, will become fully functional from 27 February, according to the regional health authority. The pronto soccorso department was initially inaugurated in March 2005 but is only now entering into the regions emergency network following some operative difficulties. An exit from the Grande Raccordo Anulare (GRA) to the hospital was constructed last year to improve accessibility.
