Ennio Morricone to head Rome Film Festival jury
Acclaimed composer Ennio Morricone is to serve as president of the jury at the 2011 International Rome Film Festival later this year. The announcement was made by festival president Gian Luigi Rondi and artistic director Piera Detassis.
Born in Rome, Morricone (82) has been the recipient of numerous awards throughout his career, including a lifetime achievement Oscar, five Baftas, two Golden Globes and more recently Sweden
