The Museo di Roma in the Palazzo Braschi has gone from the 98 visitors of 15 August 2005 to the 534 of 15 August 2006. The Galleria Borghese attracted 1,736 visitors on 15 August, thanks perhaps to the publicity surrounding to the Raffaello exhibition, an increase of 60 per cent on the previous year. Overall the number of visitors to the museums, monuments and sites of the city has doubled over the last ten years.
