Large domestic items can be dropped to collection centres on 10 November.
The capital's refuse agency AMA Roma will accept bulky household waste, such as old furniture, mattresses, televisions and washing machines, from the city's even-numbered boroughs, or municipi, on Sunday 10 November.
The free service, known as "Il tuo quartiere non è una discarica" (Your neighbourhood is not a dump) will be available from 08.00 until 13.00.
AMA has set up 26 collection points around the city - seven permanent collection centres and 19 set up especially for the initiative.
For full details, including your nearest collection point, see AMA website.
