From Rome to Cologne.
Romes railway stations and airports were filled with young pilgrims leaving for Germany on Sunday 14 August, to be present at the first World Youth Day of the new papacy, in Cologne on Sunday 21 August. Pope Benedict XVI will preside at the Mass and up to a million people are expected to attend. As many as 10,000 of them will be from Rome and they will be recognisable by their T-shirts on which is written that they come from the diocese of Rome, along with Arieccoce, Roman dialect for Here we are again.
