GARDENS. The roses of Rome
What a wonderful period this is. The air teases our senses with the smells and fragrances of spring and the roses are in full bloom. Here are some of the many interesting gardens that are open to the public in and near Rome.
La Landriana
This garden 40 km south of Rome opens the spring gardening season with its 15th annual garden fair, Primavera alla Landriana, on 23-25 April. Specialised nurseries and exhibitors will have booths and it is an excellent opportunity to add a few roses and other plants to your garden.
