Guided tour of the Mt. Soratte bunker
The mysterious and haunting bunker in the entrails of Mount Soratte, some 45 km north of Rome, will be open to the public on 12 and 13 May on the anniversary of the heavy allied bombardment it suffered in 1944.
Actors in world war two uniforms and on authentic period military vehicles will parade on the hillside outside the entrance to the bunker, and vintage military aircraft will perform an air show. Volunteer enthusiasts from the nearby village of Sant
