Honouring the war dead
The annual Commonwealth Remembrance Day ceremony will be held on 11 November at the Rome War Cemetery, which holds the graves and memorials of over 400 Commonwealth servicemen who died in the fight to free Italy from German occupation in world war two. The ceremony will begin at 10.45, with a two-minute silence observed at 11.00. Everyone is welcome to attend. The nearest metro station is Piramide. All Saints
