Italian rugby excitement.
The Italian rugby football team playing against Wales in the Six Nations championship
won its first ever point in an away match, when they drew 18-18. The two sides fought hard to gain the upper hand, in what was a sketchy game, at the Millennium stadium in Cardiff. The Welsh supporters seemed quiet and surprised at the end to find that they had almost been beaten by the most unlikely opponent. The Italian Rugby team has given its supporters some very exciting afternoons in the current competition, with a big improvement in the quality of its playing. The next round will see Italy playing Scotland at home in Rome on 18 March.
