Keep Rome clean.
The Rome city council has an office responsible for keeping the city tidy and clean, Lufficio per il Decor Urbano, and they are beginning an autumn campaign to remind the Romans about the new rules about dividing their rubbish. They are publishing a charter, a handbook of good behaviour, which will be distributed in council offices all over the city, at tourist information points and at immigrant centres. The charter will be published in Italian, English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese and Romanian.
The city council is also launching a campaign which will include posters and advertisements on the city buses asking tourists to the city to help to keep the city clean.
