Kenya is taking part in the annual festival of the Dionysia cultural centre for the first time. This years initiative, called Playroom Africa, will present aspects of the history, culture, music, theatre and visual arts of a number of African countries.

The Kenyan day is scheduled for Thurs 24 June at Villa Piccolomini, Via Aurelia Antica 164, starting at 19.00. There will be stands displaying Kenyan art and handicrafts, traditional dancing and documentaries about many aspects of Kenyan culture. The main event will be a fashion show with participants from the different communities in Kenya.
