Magic theme park for Rome
Rome's first theme park dedicated to magic is opening soon, south of the city in Valmontone. The 600,000 sqm park, known as Rainbow Magicland, contains 35 attractions, some of which have never been seen in Europe, such as the 100 km per hour Steam Machine. Its themed sections include children's and family rides like a water roller coaster through a Mayan-styled set of pyramids, while for the more adventurous there is the 70 metre-high freefall tower.
Developed around the theme of rainbows, the park's concept came from the same production company responsible for Italian animation series Winx Club and was constructed by Alfa Park at a total cost of
