Wax statue ready in about a month
The Wax Museum in Rome is preparing a statue of the late former South African president Nelson Mandela for its collection.
The statue, which is currently being modelled in wax by sculptor Francesca Romana Di Nunzio, will be ready in about a month.
It will weigh between 15 and 20 kg and will depict Mandela at the time of his release from prison in 1990.
In December the museum unveiled a statue of Pope Francis which became its 75th on display.
