Enrolment for the 2006 Rome Marathon is now open. There are three deadlines for registration with different fees according to how early you enroll: 20 Dec (30); 31 Jan (40); 9 March (50). In an attempt to encourage more Italians to participate, there is a special registration fee of 25 for Italians running in the event for the first time (applicable until 9 March). For Italians who are not first-time runners and all non-Italian residents, the above deadlines and fees apply.

There is free entry for hand-bike, paraplegic and tetraplegic categories, as well as for those who have participated in and completed all 11 editions of the Rome city marathon.

Registration can be done online, via fax or post and requires payment of the fee, completed form and health certificate (to be signed by your doctor if not a member of a sports association).
