More bus shelters.
There will be 1,000 new bus shelters throughout the city in the next three years. This month 200 will be added to the existing 440, another 145 in June, 245 before February 2007, and the remaining 410 by 2008. The cost will be funded by a private company in return for advertising space. The new shelters will be placed throughout Rome, although the ones in the historic centre, planned for 2007, will be of a different design, more in keeping with the surroundings. A prototype will shortly be installed in Largo di Torre Argentina.
