From 10 March there will be an increased regional train service between Rome and Viterbo from Monday to Friday, particularly during the peak periods from 06.30-09.30 and from 17.00-19.30.
Trenitalia said the move came about after recommendations from the Lazio Region as well as requests from commuters in recent months.
The new timetable offers 13 new routes, including faster connections, and represents an 11 per cent increase in the overall supply of trains on the Rome-Viterbo route.
