Museums, monuments and archaeological sites in the city will be open all day on 26 December and 6 January but will be closed on 25 December and 1 January. On 24 December museums will remain open until 14.00.

Temporary exhibitons have different opening times as follows:
Nell occhio di Escher, at the Capitoline Museum, open every day from 09.00 20.00. It will be closed on 25 December and 1 January and open on 24 and 31 December from 09.00 14.00. Closed on Mondays.
Da Giotto a Malevic, at the Scuderie del Quirinale, open every day from 10.00 22.30. It will be open on 24 and 31 December from 10.00 15.00, 25 December from 16.00 20.00, 1 January from 16.00 22.30 and 6 January from 10.00 20.00. Closed on Monday.
De Nittis impressionista Italiano, at the Chiostro di Bramante will open on 24 and 31 December from 10.00 17.00, 25 December from 16.00 23.00, 26 December and 6 January 10.00 20.30, 1 January 11.00 23.00. The exhibition will remain open on Mondays 27 December and 3 January from 10.00 19.00.
