Netflix international streaming provider of television shows and films comes to Italy.

Netflix, the international provider of on-demand internet streaming films and television shows, is set to arrive in Italy on 22 October, according to a statement issued by the company on 30 September.

The streaming platform is subscription based and the company has released the monthly prices for its service in Italy.

A basic package with one streaming session and standard definition will be €7.99 per month; a standard plan allowing two concurrent streaming sessions and high definition will cost €9.99; and a premium package, allowing four streaming sessions at one time and Ultra HD 4K vision, will be €11.99.

In addition to computers, Netflix can be viewed on smart TV, tablets, smartphones and on many video game consoles such as PlayStation, Xbox, Wii and Nintendo 3DS.
