A new public transport route is now open between the metro station at Anagnina and the university and Policlinico (general hospital) at Tor Vergata.

The eight-kilometre route has been revamped to make bus journeys quicker and easier as well as safer. It has new security cameras, SOS call points, paving and a cycle path as well as ornamental fountains, greenery and lighting along the way. The road has been widened to create dedicated bus lanes along a third of the route, while new traffic lights have been installed and new systems put in place to improve traffic flow.
