New Colombo cycle path opens.
A new 6.2-km cycling path has been inaugurated in Rome linking Testaccio and Trastevere in the centre of Rome with Montagnola and EUR in the south of the city. The new path begins at Ponte Sublicio (where it also connects to the 34-km Tiber cycle path) and takes cyclists past Circo Massimo along Viale Terme di Caracalla and Via Cristoforo Colombo to the end of Via Laurentina.
