New director at the Anglican Centre
The Anglican Centre in Rome will get a new director in July after the departure of Bishop Richard Garrard, who left Rome earlier this month. Bishop Garrard had been the emissary in Rome of the Anglican Communion since November 2001.
The new director, Bishop John Flack, is due to take over the post in July. Bishop Flack is currently serving as Bishop of Huntingdon. The Anglican Centre is an important point of reference for dialogue between the Anglican and Roman Catholic churches.
