The new term at Cinecitt Campus in Rome, starts on 17 January. This academy for young people who aspire to work in show business has created considerable interest in the six months that it has been open, according to its artistic director and Italian television personality Maurizio Costanza and the president of Cinecitt Entertainment, More than 25,000 people have visited the campus attending rehearsals, concerts and lessons, and 535 students enrolled for 50 different courses, ranging from film-making to ballet. Actors and musicians have given special classes, famous performers have used the recording facilities and a well known television talent-spotting programme has used the campus for the rehearsals of the musical Footloose which will be on tour in Italy until 27 February.

The campus in the Cinecitt film studios has a 1,900 sqm theatre, music-rooms and film studios.
