A new electric shuttle bus, the 115, is set to link the Janiculum car park near the Vatican with the central Ponte Garibaldi from 3 June, 07.00-02.00 daily. The bus will pass the Bambin Ges and Fatebenefratelli hospitals and Trasteveres market in Piazza S. Cosimato. However, the president of the first municipio, in which Trastevere lies, has expressed worries that if the buses are put into action before the introduction of car restrictions and extra traffic police, they will be held up in the areas narrow roads by double-parked cars and illegal street vendors.
