Piazza di Siena in Villa Borghese is once more preparing for its world famous Concorso Ippico Internazionale, to be held on 24-27 May. The Roman horse show, which combines dolce vita with top-level equestrian competitions, celebrates its 75th birthday this year.

Single-day tickets, which vary in price according to stand or enclosure, range from 13 to 60 euro. 24 May is the cheapest day, 27 May the most expensive. A reduced single admission fee costing 6.5 euro is available to schools, but is valid only on 24 and 25 May.

The competitions start at different times each day (24 May 11.00, 25 May 09.20, 26 May 12.15, 27 May 13.15). The Nations Cup is scheduled for the afternoon of 25 May, while 27 May will feature the Gran Premio Roma and the Carosello dei Carabinieri, which traditionally brings down the curtain.
