Francis becomes sixth pontiff in wax museum collection
Pope Francis is set to become immortalised in Rome's wax museum when a statue in his likeness goes on display on 8 December.
It took three craftsmen two months to create the statue which was made using wax, clay, resin, glass, silicone, foam-rubber and wood.
The statue becomes the 75th on display in the museum which opened in 1958 and is Italy's only wax museum.
The wax version of Pope Francis joins five other pope statues in the museum, including his immediate predecessor Benedict XVI.
