Royal visit to include Romania, Italy, Vatican and Austria.
Britain's Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall will visit Italy and the Holy See as part of a tour which will also include Romania and Austria.
The visit, which takes place between 29 March and 6 April, will highlight the UK's relationship with European partners in areas such as social cohesion, military ties and combatting human trafficking.
Beginning in Romania, the royal tour will see the Prince and Duchess undertaking engagements in Italy and the Holy See from 31 March-5 April before concluding their tour in Vienna.
The occasion will mark the 20th official visit to Italy by the Prince of Wales, who has undertaken two previous official visits to the Vatican. The Duchess of Cornwall has made one official visit each to Italy and the Holy See.
