Public sector absenteeism falls.
The government is claiming victory for the anti-absenteeism legislation adopted 25 June, after a report released by the ministry of public administration and innovation showed sick days in July down an average of 37 per cent across the public sector compared to July 2008. The report says the difference accounts for over 25,000 more workdays.
