Four-hour Rome bus strike coincides with 24-hour nationwide train strike.
A four-strike by Rome’s public transport company ATAC is scheduled between 08.30 and 12.30 on Friday 18 March, affecting buses, trams, metro and light rail services Roma-Lido, Roma-Nord and Termini-Centocelle.
A 24-hour strike by Roma TPL, the capital’s suburban bus company, is also programmed on 18 March, from 08.30-17.00 and from 20.00 until end of service.
In addition there is a 24-hour strike affecting trains across Italy from 21.00 on Thursday 17 March until the same time the next evening, Friday 18 March. Regional train services around Rome are guaranteed from 06.00-09.00 and from 18.00-21.00.
