Rome's public transport will be affected by a 24-hour strike action scheduled for Friday 6 July. The protests, about job security, have been called by a number of trade unions representing public transport workers in Lazio. The strike affects the capital's buses, trams, A and B metro lines and the Roma-Lido, Termini-Giardinetti and Roma-Nord light rail services from 08.30-17.00 and from 20.00 until end of service. The city's night bus services between 5 and 6 July will also be at risk. Suburban coaches operated by Cotral will not be running from 12.30-16.30 on 6 July. Rome's regional railways will not be affected by the disruption. For more details see www.agenziamobilita.roma.it.
