It promises to be another venerdì nero for Rome's commuters on Friday 24 May.
A scheduled 24-hour public transport strike will affect the capital's bus, tram, metro and the Rome-Lido, Termini-Giardinetti and Rome-Viterbo light rail systems from 08.30-17.00, and from 20.00 until end of service.
The strike has been called by the Unione Sindacale di Base (USB) and involves employees of Rome bus company ATAC as well as the Roma Tpl suburban bus company.
